Sunday, June 7 is the monthly day of prayer for Junior Bible Quiz.  The National JBQ Festival is June 11-13 at Word of Life Church in Springfield, VA.  Please pray for this awesome event from beginning to end: for the registrations, the orientation, the quizzing, the awards ceremony, and the services; pray that the Holy Spirit will be made known and received by everyone there.  Pray for the 80 teams travelling from 35 different districts across the nation.  Pray for the 352 quizzers and 152 coaches who compose those 80 teams.  Pray for grace and clarity for the quizzers, and for compassion and wisdom for the coaches.  Pray for wisdom and discernment for the 159 adults who will be officiating. Pray for the staff who oversee this event and for Pastor Barry Jorris who coordinates the Festival.  Finally, please pray for God’s blessing for our host church (Word of Life) as they welcome over 900 people for this event.  May God give all of us more mercy, peace, and love.  Amen.
